It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Schug of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Schug to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Schug and Irene Schug (Skibbe); and his sister Gwen Schug. He is survived by: his significant other Carol Irene Diercks of Waukee; his sons, Jeffrey Schug (Jamie) of Johnston and Michael Schug (Dean Lohmann) of Eagan, MN; his grandson Holden Schug of Johnston, IA; and his brother Harold Schug of Jefferson City, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members; as well as many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used towards a currently undecided charity.
