He is survived by: his wife Charlene Synacek of Cedar Rapids; his children, David Synacek of Cedar Rapids and Diane Synacek of Ely, Iowa; his grandsons, Andrew and Patrick Synacek; and his brother Robert "Bob" Synacek.
