He is survived by: his children, Steven Ovel (Susan), Scott and Barbara Lemon of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Chad Ovel (Thu) of Cedar Rapids, Ryan Ovel (Dawn) of Cedar Rapids, Stacey Crist (Mitch) of Cedar Rapids, Zachary Ovel of Cedar Rapids, Melissa Doudna (Matt) of Cedar Rapids and Jennifer Lemon of Cedar Rapids; his significant other Jane Allen; and his wife Betty.
