It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldia Lelah Neveln of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlyn Guessford and Alice Guessford (Parks); her husband Edwin Neveln; her children, Rosalee and Earl Neveln; her sisters, Hester Wyatt, Florence McNichols, Pearl Guessford and Earline Guessford; her daughter-in-law Dee Ann Neveln; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Wyatt, Darrell Eivins and Wilbur "Mac" McNichols.
She is survived by: her children, David Neveln, Gary Neveln and Annette Steckel (Abdel Wahed); her sisters, Ida Eivins and Merna Guessford; her grandchildren, Joshua (Viveka), Kelly (Michael), Izaak (Shannon), James, Jeff (Estefania), Nicole and Brandon (Liz); and her great grandchildren, Seth, Nathan, Gavin, Greta, Elliott, Claire, Adam and Lucas.
