With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Scott of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Algonac, Michigan, who passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Scott to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Scott and Elizabeth Scott (Thompson); his stepfather John Kriegel; his siblings, Donna Zimple, Nicholas "Nick" Kriegel and Ronald "Ronny" Kriegel; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Zimple and Jeanie Kriegel.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Runyan (Gary) of Cedar Rapids, Elizabeth "Beth" Scott of Cedar Rapids and James "Jim" Scott (Tonya) of Ankeny; his brother Michael Kriegel (Chris) of Toledo, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Cory Runyan, Scott Runyan (Leah), Crystal Lorenz (Corey Shea), Ashley Lorenz (Tomas "TJ" Stuart) and Andrew Scott; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Parker, Cohen, Madalyn, Evelyn and Otto; and his wife Ruth A. Feisel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight or Trinity Lutheran Church 10.1.1 Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
