It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Vincent Salsman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Garberville, California, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelson and Mary Nelson (Pesce); and his parents-in-law, Peter and Dorothy Swanston. He is survived by: his wife Karen Salsman of Cedar Rapids; his daughter Courtney (Richard) of Cedar Rapids; his granddaughter Sarah Salsman; his brothers, Richard Salsman (Claire) of Roseville and Donald Salsman (Sherre) of New Mexico; and his brother-in-law Don Swanston (Pam).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the FLY (Feeding Lunch to Youth) Program in Marion.
