He was predeceased by: his daughters, Kathy, Deb and Kim. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Burkhart (Moline); his son Douglas Burkhart (Lori) of Cedar Rapids; his son-in-law Ted J. Tannehill; his brothers, Wayne Burkhart and Jim Burkhart (Dayle); his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Joab, Ryan and Candace; and his parents, Lyle Burkhart and Helen Burkhart (Roberts).
