Helen Christophersen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2020, at the age of 91, Helen Christophersen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaclav Skalicky and Mary Skalicky (Novak); her husband Donald Christophersen; and her siblings, Jan Skalicky (Jack), Georgina Groth and Mary Carson (Kit).

She is survived by: her children, Linda DeFrees (Jackson) of Marion, IA and Mark Christophersen of Belle Plaine, IA; her grandchildren, Brian Ridenour (Cherie), Jennifer Jansen (Roger), Ariel Stout (Philip), Kirsten Kalina (Lucas), Austin Christophersen, Paige and Grace Christophersen; and her daughter-in-law Theresa Christophersen. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren (with one on the way); five great-great grandchildren.

As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced.
