Helen L. Philipp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Philipp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Church and Louise Church (Finton); her husband Fred J. Philipp; her brothers, Lloyd, Wayne and Boyd Church; her son Robert Pose, Jr.; her grandson Landon; her great grandchildren, Trevor and Curtis, Jr.; and her son-in-law Rhiney Hugh.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert L. Pose; her daughters, Tana Petersen of Fairfax and Diana Brislawn (Larry) of Hiawatha; and her grandchildren, Stacey, Jamie, Shawnee and Jenna. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Helen wished to especially thank Faith Seehaven, Hope Hugh, Charity and Terry Schneekloth for their love and support over many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, or St. Ludmila's Catholic Church.
