It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard R. Cole of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Howard Cole; his wife Shirley Morris; and his mother Ida Benter (Holthaus). He is survived by: his children, Renee Dyson (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, Timus Galli (Robin) of Cedar Rapids, Dennis Galli (Jackie) of Central City, Michael Galli (Von) of Urbana, Linda Tally-Dye of Waterloo, David Galli (Carol) of Shellsburg and Debra Schropp of Marion; and his brothers, Larry Cole, Gary Cole (Tracy) and Roger Cole. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
