He is survived by: his wife Luwonna Brinkerhoff of Center Point, Iowa; his mother Billie Cooley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his sons, Jim Brinkerhoff Jr. (Rosie) of Nevada, Todd Brinkerhoff of Correctionville and Bradley Brinkerhoff of Clearwater, Florida; his stepsons, Andy Gates (Amy) of Oelwein and Adam Gates (Jena) of Marion, Iowa; and his siblings, Marilyn Sebastian (Ed) of Fairfax, Leanne McDaniel (Michael) of Los Angeles, California and Steven Brinkerhoff (Brenda) of Denton, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-grandson.
