He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Fye and Estelle Fye (Potter); his son Robert; and his siblings, Clifford Fye, Everett Fye, Leslie Fye, Sheldon Fye, Delbert Fye, Hazel Titus, Gladys Fye, Glen Fye, Darrel Fye and Nola Fye.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Boss of Cedar Rapids; his daughter Nancy Mostaert (Todd) of Marion; his grandchildren, Tonya (John), Mindy Matthew (Jeremy) and Robbie; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Dakota, Lily and Kayden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
