He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Leonard and Marcella Leonard (Supple); his wife Janice Nell Fisher; and his siblings, Helen Glanz, Peg Haas, Jean Marshall, Pat Leonard, Bill Leonard, Lois Foarde and Doc Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, John Leonard of Cedar Rapids, Jill Goddard (Greg) of Cedar Rapids and Jennifer Leonard of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Zachary Bemer, Mitchell Leonard and Emily Leonard; his siblings, Jack Leonard (Sheryl) of Anamosa and Linda Norton (Betty) of Hiawatha; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
