We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to James M. MacEk of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Macek and Mary Macek (Jindrich); his parents-in-law, Prudence and Gerald Moore; and his sister-in-law Pat Kinsell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moore; his children, Brian Macek (Kelly) of Marion and Katherine Rix (Chris) of Elk Grove, California; his grandchildren, Ava, Annabelle, Lilly and Connor; his sister Selma Scheetz (Ray) of Cedar Rapids; and his sibling's children, Raphael Scheetz (Anna), Kurt Scheetz, Sybil Scheetz, Jamie Golden-Grove (Darrell) and Jessica Browne.
The family requests that everyone attending to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Memorials may be directed to either St. Ludmila's Catholic Church, Hospice of Mercy, or to the donor's choice of charity.
