She was predeceased by: her brother Robert Layton; her former husband Ron Telfer; and her parents, Joseph Layton and Hazel Johnson Layton. She is survived by: her children, Rod, Terry Telfer of Cedar Rapids, Todd Telfer (Robin) of Simpsonville, SC and Tala Nelson (Brian) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Crystal, Andy, Shannon, Jessica and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Landon, Killian, Adalyn, Kelsey and Mason; her great great grandchild Brynlee; and her pet Viola.
