She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Elrod and Herbert Elrod; her brother Samuel Elrod; and her daughter Lela Pledge. She is survived by: her husband Albert Cherry Pledge; her children, Cheryl Pledge Kardell (Erik) of Van Horne and Jeremy Pledge of Cincinnati, Ohio; her granddaughter Norah Kardell of Van Horne; and her brothers, Kent Elrod (Carlie) of Humboldt and Ronald Elrod of Knoxville, Tennessee. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and friends.
