She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Marquardt and Caroline Marquardt; and her son-in-law Daryl LaPointe, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Marquardt (Gamm); her husband Robert Berridge of Cedar Rapids; her children, Pearl LaPointe of Winnebago, Alice Fisher (Paul) of Denver, Bobby Berridge (Lisa) of Chicago, John Berridge of Winnebago, Jim Berridge (Elaine) of Portage and Peter Berridge (Jenny) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her siblings, Martin Marquardt (Setsuko) of Salinas, Pauline Grovert (George) of Shellsburg, Mary Seeman (Lon) of Newhall and Roger Marquardt (Rosemary) of Marengo, Iowa. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Janice's memory may be directed to either Lutheran Church of the Resurrection or Marion American Legion Auxiliary Unit 298.
