It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannie Gallagher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Marengo, Iowa, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Russell, Ralph Kahler and Eleanor Ealy (Earl); and her parents, Harry Kahler and Josephine Landuyt Kahler.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Gallagher (Tammy) of Cedar Rapids, Shane Gallagher (Sarah) of Atkins and Tina Bean (Eric Schmitz) of Palo; her grandchildren, Nathan (Desiree), Trina (David), Kile (Jenna), Logan, Chase (Kayla), Casey, Kale, Alek, Lilliana, Hayden, Sophia, Gannon and Maila; her siblings, Alice Von Ahsen (Ivan) of Cedar Rapids, Kay Comried (Ray) of Marion and Ron Kahler (Linda) of Monticello; her sisters-in-law, Gerry Herr of Amana and Yvonne Kahler of Amana; and her husband Patrick Gallagher III. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Per Covid guidelines, all in attendance are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
