He is survived by: his wife Melissa Peters (Van Slyke); his children, Mitchell Peters and Lydia Peters; his parents-in-law, Cedar Peters and Jill Peters; his stepbrother Steve Peters (Judy) of Hartley, IA; his half-brother Tony Peters (Holly) of Seattle, WA; and also, Miriam Peters of Cedar Rapids, IA, Bill Hampton, Belinha Hampton, Brian Daugherty of Omaha, NE, Aunts and Uncles. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews, many Cousins, and countless friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society, if desired.
