It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hayek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlton Hayek and Herma Hayek (Shontz) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his wife Ann; his sons, Gary (Debbie) of North Carolina and Craig (Cathy) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Kate (Chris), Wendy (Jay) and Nick; his great grandchildren, Carter, Bryce, Ella and Noah; his sister Phyllis; his stepchildren, Lori Woll, Kati Southard and Tim Succi; his former wife Elaine; his sister Gwen; and his brother-in-law Al Loetell.
