He is survived by: his wife Venita Knapp of Cedar Rapids, IA; his children, Maureen Ries (Dave McCabe) of Galena, IL, Debra Schmelling (Bill) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Gary "Morgan" Knapp (Sheila) of Cascade, Juli Vrotsos (Don) of Dubuque, Jacki Knapp (Bruce Woolfolk) of Cedar Rapids, Peggy Epping (Ed) of Atkins, IA and Kelly Knapp of Marion; his brother Richard "Dick" Knapp (Betty) of Bernard; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Biehl of Maquoketa, Dell Casey (Bev) of Brentwood, CA, John Casey of Des Moines, Pat Casey (Sharon), Chuck Casey (Donna), Cherri Wessels of Dyersville, IA, Gerene O'Brien of Monticello, Gloria Casey of Mission, TX, Max and Dolly. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
