It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Powers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Powers and George Powers; and his sisters, Mae Rhene and Francis Williams Findley (Frankie). He is survived by: his wife Janet Gardner; his children, Amy Powers, Lisa Kinnick (Buck) and John Powers (Andrea); his brothers, Harold Powers (Zelda) and George Powers (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ashlee Koch, Zachary Koch (Carley), Cody Fisher, Briar Kinnick, Luke Powers and Ryne Powers; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Corey, Alyonna, Violet and Carter John.
