He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Anne Stamats (Bill) of Cedar Rapids and George Purdie (Joeanna) of Seattle; his stepsons, Chris Buresh (Ginny) of Coralville and Ryan Buresh (Katie) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Ben Stamats, Haley Stamats and Louella Purdie; and his stepgrandchildren, Eve, Charles, Tess, Penelope Buresh, Lillian Buresh and Molly Buresh.
