He is survived by: his children, Jerri Whitters (Joe), Jody Altenhofen (Tami) and Jackie LaGrange (Eric); his grandchildren, Hannah Luther (Cody), Adam Whitters, Nick Whitters (Makailli), Tayler Whitters (Cameron Steffens), Rylee Whitters, Lynsey Prokop (Bryce), Matthew Altenhofen, Cameron LaGrange (Alli Knies), Logan LaGrange (Alyssa Eilers), Ty LaGrange and Braedy LaGrange; his great grandchildren, Isla, Liam, Paul, Paisley and Lieren; his siblings, Donnie Altenhofen (Lorene), Bonnie Feight (Dan), Bobbie Altenhofen (Cheri), Terry Altenhofen (Melanie) and Randy Altenhofen (Laurie); and his brothers-in-law, Paul Linnenkamp and Robert Lyle.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A prayer was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 4:45 PM at the same location.
