He is survived by: his wife Magda Castro of Cedar Rapids; his children, Joseph Aquino (Alejandra) of Iowa City and Kim Hoffon (Austin) of North Liberty; his grandson Mateo Hoffon; his mother-in-law Juanita Castro of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings, Blanca Hernandez of Los Angeles, America Hernandez of Los Angeles, Oti Hernandez (Francisco Garcia) of Los Angeles, Maira Aquino of Los Angeles, Cecilia Rivas (Lito) of Los Angeles, Antonio Aquino (Isabel) of Los Angeles, Martin Aquino of Los Angeles and Isabel Vivas of Fairfax, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his special dog companion.
