He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Acker and Geraldine Acker (Kies); and his son Joe. He is survived by: his close friends, Mia, Layla and Kobi; his children, Maggie Johnson (Russ) of Fairfax, Iowa and Jeff Acker of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Quinn of Fairfax and Kellen Johnson of Fairfax; and his siblings, Bob Acker, Jr., Barb Schmicher, Marge Streitferdt, Julie Willman, Janet Eppard, Cathy Jasper and Sue Defrieze.
