She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ratliff and Thaddy Woods; her stepfather Clark Woods; her uncles, Melvin Lindsey and Roy Harris; her grandfathers, George and Cornelius Harris; her cousin Robin Edwards; her niece Nina Postley; and her great-grandparent Rosie Rucker.
She is survived by: her husband Obie Dixon of Cedar Rapids; her son Jerome Lawrence Dixon (Becky Watkins); and her siblings, Josie Brewster, George Ratliff (Betty), Tony Watkins (Harriett), Cora Bryant (Terry) and Terry Watkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
