Judy Gibson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Gibson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Popek and Millicent M. Popek (Milke); her brother Bill Popek; and her boyfriend Bruce A. Knott. She is survived by: her children, Randy Gibson (Carrie) of Cedar Rapids and Amy Bellmer (Bill) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jason Gibson (Madie), Taylor Gibson (Bonnie), Michael Gibson, Brandon Galvin (Nessa) and Christal Alve-Frana; her brother Dick Popek (Gay) of Seattle, Washington; and her cousin Karolyn Lang (Clark) of Comfort, Texas.. She is also survived by seven great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; and one great-great-granddaughter.
