He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Cassidy of Columbia; his sister Gay Mercer of Amana; his grandchildren, Holly Fields of Chicago, Zachary Rump of St. Louis and Olivia Shocks of Gardner, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Elijah, August and Autumn; and his wife Frances E. Parbs.
