It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laquesta H. Doolin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel D. Sr. Pickens and Vera Pickens. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Leticia Doolin of New Jersey, Nolan Doolin, Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Josett Doolin of Cedar Rapids; and her boyfriend Donald Berns of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, LaQuesta asks that memorials are directed to her New City Church, that they can continuer her love for God.
