He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolph Engel (Rosie) and Matilda Heesch Engel (Tillie); his wife Cheryl Schutzenhofer; his sister Judy McLaughlin; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Schutzenhofer, Roger Wulff and Mary Ann Wulff; his parents-in-law, Alex and Betty Schutzenhofer; his children, Sheila Zornes (Ron) and Doug Engel (Julie) of Avoca, IA.; his grandchildren, Stephanie Poldberg (Neil), Dean Zornes, Dylan Zornes, Tayler Engel (Josh) and Dustin Engel (Trenna); his sisters, Jackie Larsen (Dwayne) and Kristi Beebe (Kent); and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Schutzenhofer (Kathy), Bob Schutzenhofer, David Schutzenhofer, Alex Schutzenhofer (Donna) and Tina Venturo.
