He was predeceased by: his parents, George Convey and Bessie Convey (Blado). He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hancox (Rick) of Cedar Rapids; his granddaughters, Sydney Hancox and Bayley Hancox of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, George "Bill" Convey of Cedar Rapids, James Convey of Cedar Rapids and Shirley Turnbull of Lisbon; his sisters-in-law, Carol Novotny of Cedar Rapids, Mary Duncan and Mildred Finnell (Harold) of Titusville; and his wife Patricia Novotny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
