Larry Kubalek Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2020, at the age of 76, Larry Kubalek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kubalek and Doris Kubalek (Votrobek); and his wife Helen Kubalek. He is survived by: his children, Leland Kubalek (Gina Rotenburger) of Rome, IA, James Kubalek of Cedar Rapids, Jennifer McCurdy (Frank) of Cedar Rapids and Gail Bricker (Michael) of Cedar Rapids; his girlfriend Joan McGuire of Cedar Rapids; his sister Marcia Lannom of Cedar Rapids; his parents-in-law, Charles Posekany (Charlene) of Brooklyn, Jo DeGreve (Dean) of Ely and Mary Gropper (Jeff) of Haven; and his sibling's children, Terry Aten, Dawn Aten of Cedar Rapids and Star Gamma of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Please be mindful of everyone's safety, respect social distancing and wearing masks when appropriate. To abide by social distancing guidelines visitation will be limited to 15 patrons at a time.
