He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriett (Price) and Lawrence L. Harford, Sr.; his sons, Kenneth and Steven Harford; and his brother Lauren Harford.
He is survived by: his wife Bronia Harford of Cedar Rapids; his children, Kathryn Eidenschink (Joe) of Aloha, Richard Harford (Brenda) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Michael Harford of Marengo, Iowa; his grandchildren, Dr. Chantelle Baldwin, Kelley Baldwin, Kristin Bell (Jordan), Jessica Harford and Monica Gerdes (Tyler); his siblings, James Harford (Karen) of Lincoln, Edna Bornstein of Cedar Rapids and Robert Miller (Cathy) of Spring Hill; and his sister-in-law Joan Hartson (Leeland) of Hiawatha, Iowa. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
