He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr and Hazel Melsha; his siblings, Robert and Kenny; and his son David.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Hauskins) of Cedar Rapids; his children, Jeffery, Ronald and Pub; and his grandchildren, Joe Melsha of Cedar Rapids, Sarah Melsha of Springville and Macey.
