With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie J. Willett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in South Haven, Michigan, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Willett and Ruth Willett (Warfield); his wife Wava Jean Soristo; and his siblings, Chuck Willett, Wesley Willett, Thelma Frazee and Imagine Marianne.
He is survived by: his children, Chery O'Conner (Patrick) of Independence, IA, Teresa Willett of Benton Harbor, Steven Willett of Cedar Rapids, IA and Edward Willett (Lisa) of Center Point, IA.; his grandchildren, Candice Wisdo, Kristin Sherrets, Ashley Walthart, Lucas Wise, Garrison Willett and Meghan Canney; and his siblings, Louie Willett of South Haven and Letty Wilson of Kerrville, Texas.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
