She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick "Fritz" Edwin Meineke; her sister-in-law Nancy McQuaid (Meineke); her grandson Richard Paul; and her parents, Arnold Kaune and Bethel Kaune (Slater).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Shelly) of Marengo, IA and R. J. (Joey Lynn) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan (Emily), Ellie and Thomas Meineke; her great grandchildren, Brennen, Keely, Kyla and Charlotte; her sister Darlene Schlarmann (Pat); and her brother-in-law Duane Meineke.
