It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Elkin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Buettikofer and Adela Buettikofer (Hoffmann); her husband Rev. Robert Elkin; her brother Fred R. Buettikofer; and her aunt Elsie Hoffmann.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gordon of Cedar Rapids, Diane Ward (Dan) of Masonville, Darlene Guilbert (Donald) of Columbus, OH and Douglas (Susan Kelty) of Cedar Rapids.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
