We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2020, at the age of 92, Lorene E. Trachta of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Dorchester, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Divoky and Helen Divoky (Srajhans); her husband Donald Trachta; her siblings, Richard Divoky (Doris) and Janice Franks (Sam); and her brother-in-law Elmer Trachta.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Wierzbicki (Peter) and Dennis Trachta (Lorna); her grandchildren, Jonathan Schultz (Jessica), Janeen Van Etten (Andrew) and Danyel Kolek (Kirk); her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Riley Kolek, Bella Van Etten and Cooper Schultz; her stepgrandsons, Paul (Angie) and Andrew Wierzbicki; her stepgreat-grandchildren, JoLee and Symphony Wierzbicki; and her sister Delores Trachta. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy.
