She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Barbara Douglas and Donald Parbs; and also Brandon McCullough. She is survived by: her parents, Ronald Parbs and Shelley Parbs (Douglas); her brother Jason Parbs; and her grandmother Barbara Parbs. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, 15 cousins, her UIHC NICU family, Coe college family, numerous other friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer or The Dream Foundation in Maria's honor.
