She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle C Grimm and Blanche L. Grimm; her husband James L. Akers; her daughter Kathryn J. Dunlap; and her siblings, Harold, Robert, Gene and Donna.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Darrow; her son-in-law Larry Darrow of Fremont Hills, MO; her brother Howard Grimm (Gladys) of Altoona, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jaren Pippitt (Greg) of St. Joseph and John Darrow (Becky) of Springfield, MO; and her great grandchildren, Pierce, Wyatt, Keegan and Mackenzie. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
