She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Hemm; her children, Dennis Hemm and Carol Culp; her sisters, Retha Shearer, Rosie Kamp and Edie Reed; her sister-in-law Janet Zachmeyer; her siblings, Doris Caldwell, Johnny Zachmeyer and Thomas "Shortie" Zachmeyer; and her son-in-law Bobby Christner.
She is survived by: her children, David Hemm (Annette), Kathy Jones (Dennis), Donna Taylor (Marvin), Carla Christner, Mike Hemm (Sandra), Mark Hemm (Julie) and Becky Yoder (Russ). She is also survived by nine children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
