It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Taylor (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Newhall, Iowa, who passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Fortune of Cedar Rapids; her granddaughter Michelle Fortune of Iowa City; her siblings, Melba Davison of Cedar Rapids and Robert Paulsen of Newhall; and her parents, John Paulsen and Clara Warner Paulsen.
