It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Baumgartner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Lime Springs, Iowa, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Baumgartner and Elsie Baumgartner (Vogel); and his wife Francis Keaton. He is survived by: his children, Sue Frye (Michael) of Cedar Rapids, Jennie Galvin of Idaho and Marvin Baumgartner (Margaret) of Dubuque, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Samantha and Dylan. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
