It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kalisch of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Kinder and Elizabeth Burke Kinder; her husband Bertram Kalisch, Jr.; her daughter Barbara; her grandchildren, Davon and Skylar; and her siblings, Wesley, Jim and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ogden (Bruce), Bertram Kalisch (Eleni), James Kalisch, Elizabeth Drahos (Tom), Roberta Shauchunas (Robert) and Jeanne Smith. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Masks are recommended for those attending the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
