He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Minor and Ella Minor (Smith); his wife Eileen Minor; his children, Barbara Ann Minor and David Minor; and his siblings, Irene Switzer, Lois Wehrhan, Isabelle Richardson and Glen Minor.

He is survived by: his children, Elaine Minor (Mick Allen) of Tiffin, Neil Minor of Ryan and Mark Minor of Monarch; his sister Edith Lyon of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Neal of Swisher and Jean Strong of Springdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Maurice's memory to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
