She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Chesmore and Leona Chesmore (Huster); and her siblings, Donna Enriquez, Charlie and Wesley Chesmore.
She is survived by: her children, Ramon Ruiz of Woodlawn, Juan Ruiz of Cedar Rapids, Maria Wayson (Jason Hangartner) of Cedar Rapids and Marcelina Ruiz of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsea, Alissa, Dylan, Ian, Katie, Demeka, Marcia, Anastasia, Nolisa, Curtis, Joshua, Roman and Isabella; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Sara, Logan, Tyjuan and Ariana; and her siblings, Christina Wilson of Muscatine, Edna Embry of Belle Plaine and David Chesmore (Sharon) of Derby, Kansas.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by Nola's family.
