He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Julie) of O'Fallon, MO., Mark Banowetz (Kathleen) of Ely, IA. and Nancy Wymore (Gregory) of Cedar Rapids, IA.; his son-in-law Neil Flesher of Avon, CO.; his grandchildren, Ryan Flesher, Lindsay Hogan (Brad), Brian Banowetz (Betsy), Kayla Mehlert (Morgan), Chad Nunemaker, Amanda Klimesh (Zach), Dr. Julia Buchkina (Ilya), Timothy, Brad and Jonathan Banowetz; and his siblings, Raymond Banowetz (Pat) of Marion, IA. and Dolores Banowetz of Dubuque, IA..
