He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norberto Neira and Rosa Neira (Seli); his former wife Constance Louise Ahrens; his wife Virginia Peet of Roscoe, IL; his sons, Nicholas Neira (Sue) of Kansas City, MO, David Neira (Jennifer) of Walford and Scott Neira (Nicole) of Iowa City; his sister Fulvia Sanchez of Ecuador; his sister-in-law Cecilia Neira of Ecuador; and his stepchildren, Scott Peet (Susie) of Abingdon, IL, Wendy Guile (Eric) of Roscoe, IL and Julie Woolf (Bruce) of Cedar Rapids. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
