She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Unger and Grace Unger (Tucker); her husband Robert "Bob" Gross; and her son Robert, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Becker (Russell) of Toddville, IA, Michael Gross (Cathy) of Palo, IA and Brenda Cahill (Steve) of Palo, IA; her daughter-in-law Mary Jo Washburn (Noel); her grandchildren, Dustin Gross (Keegan), AJ Gross (Jessica), Elizabeth Becker, Emily Scheibe (Sean), Courtney Johnson (Neal), Leanne Becker, Cole Gross (Kaylee) and Tricia Becker; her sisters, Nilene Cunningham, Mary McMinn, Betty Jo Young, Jennie Harrison, Donna Connor and Georgia Lynn Moree; and her sister-in-law Barbara Cook (Dale) of Hutchinson, KS. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to St Luke's Hospice or the Veteran's Administration.
